Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) To Start Filming In August!

Milla Jovovich has confirmed via her official Facebook page that Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will begin filming in August. In the latest addition, Alice, Jill, Claire, Chris, Leon, Ada, and Wesker rush to The Hive, where The Red Queen plots total destruction over the human race.

Director Paul W.S. Anderson is returning as the writer and dirwector for the long-running action-horror franchise, based on the popular video game series of 'Resident Evil'.

Plot:
"In the sixth installment, Washington, D.C. has become another safe haven during the outbreak. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Jovovich) continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak aided by new-found allies and familiar friends."

Last August, actress Milla Jovovich announced that she and her husband Paul W.S. Anderson were expecting their second child together, thus delaying the shooting of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. 


Says Jovovich, "I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming ‘Resident Evil- The Final Chapter’ in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously."

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will hit the theaters on 2 September 2016. (USA)
